Good reasons to write

• A correction, or a note that contradicts your own experience.
• A question about something in a note that was unclear or under-explained.
• A problem you are working through that overlaps with something we have written about.

What helps

A sentence or two of context goes a long way — what you are building, and where it is getting stuck. Links to the specific note you are responding to are useful too, since it saves guessing.

What to expect

Replies are written by hand, so they are not immediate. We read everything and answer what we can usefully answer. If a question is outside what we actually know, we will say so rather than improvise.

We do not send a newsletter and there is nothing to subscribe to, so writing to us will not add you to anything.
